In liberating Tango you find no boundaries, just new dimensions. Your senses are heightened; two people become one within the music. The dance comes from within. The movement comes from within. The emotion comes from within. The spirit of tango resides within us, liberating it is to become lost in an internal, shared expression.

Sheffield Tango Argentino – now embracing the term “liberating tango” – has been established at the Polish Club, Millenium Hall, Eccleshall Road, from the onset following the launch events back in 2003.
As I learned so early on, the dance is about walking. Come and learn to walk in an embrace, walk with style and before you know it, you will be engaged in a passion and expression called tango.
We teach technique, precision and expression rather than choreography. In time you will improve your skill, balance, technique and posture. Soon you will develop the ability to interpret the music find your own style and fluidity. Our liberating tango style will soon have you sharing the passion of life which is tango.
To be lost in the dance is Liberating and all you have to do is walk!
Tango Classes
Our tango classes are fun, engaging, welcoming while at the same time focusing on technique and precision.
They are progressive, so all levels will find their pace.
There is always time at the end of the classes to dance socially (Practica) meet people, have a drink and of course, practice your new liberating moves. Come and join us.
No partners required but encouraged.
Private Tango Classes
- Private classes are available daytime or evening, just call or email to make a booking.
- Wedding dance choreography is very popular at the moment. Give me a call and make that day even more special.
- Corporate events, dance demonstrations and party bookings – just call for further details.
Intensive Tango Courses – Tango Boot Camps
We run periodic Intensive Tango Weekend Courses (“boot camps”) in Sheffield and neighbouring cities.
These weekend workshops are fantastic for those who wish to fast track their dancing to the next level.
Courses are extremely popular and have to be booked in advanced and our limited number of places go very fast.
