STEEL CITY SALSA “DANCE YOURSELF FIT!” has been one of Sheffield’s premier dance companies since it was established at the start of the Millenium.
Our friendly and encouraging teaching team are here to make sure you have fun while you learn to dance – even if you have 2 left feet! Whether you are a Beginner, an Improver, an Intermediate or an Advanced dancer, we have classes for you.

SHEFFIELD TANGO ARGENTINO “LIBERATING TANGO” has 
been the cornerstone of Tango in Sheffield since 2003. We specialise in “Tango outside the box” – centred around all the core principles of Argentinian Tango, but daring to explore…daring to let your mind and body be fluid and free. First you learn the basics, then we take away the boundaries as you let your dance develop.
Using a core of traditional Tango music, with Vals and Milonga, melted together with the Charisma of Nuevo, Electric and Contemporary Tango sounds…we dare you to break the rules!

OUR VENUE: STEEL CITY SALSA/SHEFFIELD TANGO ARGENTINO is based at The Millenium Hall, Ecclesall Road, Sheffield, S11 8PY - a wonderful dance venue with a cosy 150-person capacity, 2 fully-licensed bars, fully air-conditioned space (for those hot, steamy dance nights) and ample roadside parking.
NO PARTNERS REQUIRED – AND NO NEED TO BOOK! Just come along (on your own or with friends), relax, enjoy our friendly atmosphere and learn to dance while making new friends. Classes are held every week and private lessons are also available. We also have regular party nights and social events – check our Events page for details of upcoming events.
